I agree, Tavares was put out there right from the start. Nothing said and the deal was made with many pieces going both way. In real life does this happen, probably not but neither do some of the moves I made. It is just not real life and all deals have value going each way.

I agree it’s not the one with the farthest gap in value but I do think that it is the one that is least likely to happen. You can split it up all you want but it’s pretty much an 11 piece trade. Also if Tavares gets traded no way Isles move Bellows or Beau.

My only issue with the JT deal is that he's a UFA.

His rights would likely be worth a 2nd. However with JT, he'll go UFA and pick his destination.

Yeah, I'd say let it go through solely because there is a legit chance JT goes to FA. And since there is no FA in this game,it is hard to value his "rights" in a trade.
