Happy with the round robin but down to just Norris and Samo.

I’m not sure what the current standings are but 0 points out of Kravtsov and another benching for Tarasov likely means I’m done. My top-end forwards in Zadina, Kravtsov, and Tolvanen all really disappointed this year.

My Russian and Finnish duos have propelled me atop the standings. I believe it's 45 to Lakai's 43 going into the Gold Medal Game. Woot!

Congrats Soli!

This was by far my strongest looking team on paper - didn’t expect Poehling, my final drafted forward, to lead my team in scoring.

Near-picks in Romanov, Sandin, and Fehervary really haunted me.

BNL's Agonal Gasp/Scoring Summary

I quickly found my lineup was just a treasure trove of 2nd/3rd liners. Bouchard and Samorukov were quality D for their teams but the points were not there. Last year you had Makar, Hajik, and Dahlin all sniffing 10 pt tourneys. I also took a gamble on Eriksson Ek whom I thought may get the nod based on experience....and " if he's suspended than why bring him?" but Ersson....who I almost took....ended up steeling the show and ~10 pool points.

Otherwise....my forwards--again who were all relegated to depth positions on their teams as they were struggling to get on the 1st PP or 1st line (aside from Kaut)...draped my team in a thin gauze of respectability.

Frost had a major tourney and I hope that it somehow derailed Lakai/Comtois.
Bemstrom was also a major force and although not totally off the board....he's the feather in my cap. He looked like a cross between Sam Gagner and Alex Ovechkin. ( ;) )

Other notes;
*vulgar cursing*
Congrats to Soli and Lakai

Near pick on Romanov you state....he was picked #70/#72  ...you had all the opportunity....I did contemplate him in the 8th round too.

Picking 6th I thought I could squeeze a win, my last win long ago I did select 8th overall which is feat itself.

Canada getting eliminated killed my team I deeply believe.

Congrats Soli!

You guys let @Soli win?

That’s the worst news all night, and that includes the Oilers. ;)

I know - I was planning on taking him as my last defenceman and that’s why I passed on Sandin in the previous round. I’m pretty sure you took him one pick before me, and I got stuck with Morozov.

Alas, it was Zadina and Tolvanen that killed me.
