Heard from a cousin of his at the NAHL showcase that surgery will happen...and 5 months is likely. They said hes out indefinitely. I'm guessing surgery is on it's way.
So that leaves MacDermid, Fantenberg, Brickley, LaDue, JAD, Wagner and Etem.
Safe picks would be LaDue and Brickley then Etem getting a contract.
Kovalchuk-Kopitar-Brown
Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
Iafallo-Kempe-Lewis
Clifford-Amadio-Thompson
*Etem, JAD
*Brodzinksi out long term, Vilardi questionable.
Forbort-Doughty (Assuming he's ready by the start of the regular season since he's skating already.)
Muzzin-Martinez
Phaneuf-LaDue
*Brickley
Quick Campbell
Clauge has been a major disappointment.Clague?
edit:
remaining roster
LA Kings training camp roster:
Forwards (17): Kopitar, Brown, Kovalchuk, Carter, Toffoli, Pearson, Kempe, Iafallo, Amadio, Clifford, Thompson, Lewis, Wagner, Anderson-Dolan, Etem, Vilardi (injured), Brodzinski (injured)

Goalies (4): Quick, Campbell, Petersen, Budaj
Z. Mitchell & A. Lintuniemi on waivers
I like this. Those top 3 lines can be rolled more evenly and Kempe is a better wing than center.Kings practice today
Iafallo-Kopitar-Brown
Kempe-Carter-Kovalchuk
Pearson-Amadio-Toffoli
Clifford-Thompson-Lewis
Wagner-JAD-Etem
Iafallo - Kopitar - Brown
Kovalchuk - Carter - Kempe
Pearson - Amadio - Toffoli
Etem - Anderson Dolan - Lewis
looks good! very well balanced
JAD is not even close to being ready for the NHL.
If Forbort comes back, Brickley will go down. They won’t make him a healthy scratch. Also, expect Kings to go with one extra forward and two extra D so they don’t likely lose MacD and Fantenberg on waivers.
TP & TT better be ready to shoot because Amadio is great at finding the open man.
Don't think it's a definite that Brickley would be sent down (and I assume Mac will get waived). If he's playing good enough to be a regular they'll rotate through Phaneuf/Ladue as extras and Fantenberg as the 8
Clauge has been a major disappointment.
Phaneuf takes up too much cap space to be in a regular rotation, and LaDue is the only other RHD. If that's the best Brickley can get to right now, Ontario is right down the street. Let him play all the time down there, and it's easy enough to call him up if need be. Or somehow finally get rid of M or M, and have Brickley play those minutes.
