JPA would have at least thrown the ball in the direction of first base. Lopez looked like his controller died. Mind-blowing.

Can someone explain what happened i was out. Box score shows a lot of action in the final inning.

Lopez can't block a ball or count.

2 Ks that didn't count as on the first one Lopez couldn't block the ball and didn't get the throw to 1st in time. On the second he didn't block the ball, check the runner at third and then went back to the plate not even bothering to attempt to throw to first.

Sportsnet showing highlights right now im just about to get to the end of the game. Reading this isn't serving it justice.

That crowd is depressing. Seats are practically empty.

Part of it is the weird sort of baseball malaise that exists in Florida. In spite of being the seat of spring training for like half the league, very few ****s seem to be given about dedicated MLB teams.

Also the Trop is, by most accounts, a dump that's out in the middle of nowhere. It's not nestled in an accessible, downtown area that will attract fans.

Shaky start for Rowley. He righted the ship last start after some jitters, so he can do it again, but he's not looking great for getting start #4 the way things stand.

Too bad. I liked some of what he brought.

Haven't they talked about relocating them? It seems like the only way anything is going to change is a change of location, even if it's within Tampa. If that's not happening soon, then relocation should pretty much be a certainty...

It was nice while it lasted. There was always a probability that Rowley is a gas can.

These umps think they are a part of the action

I still remember that fateful christmas morning when I opened up on of my presents and discovered that Santa had brought me a crisp, new replica umpire's jersey. Needless to say I was the envy of all my friends that day. Even the one that had a coveted Joe West rookie card.

Tabby brings up Archer being a good pitcher despite his W/L record due to lack of run support. Buck *silence*. Always funny when that happens

There was a game the other day where Buck got on a "wins are what matters" rant and Tabler then specifically mentioned Archer's poor career W/L record in spite of his solid performance. Buck then managed the brain-busting paradox of agreeing with Tabler only to immediately segue back into a "if I had to put together a rotation, give me a bunch of winners" rant.
