The fact that Simmonds even mentioned anything about hot dogs re Kessel in a journalist piece goes to speak to his quality of person and professionalism. He could write about alot of thing Kessel as it relates to the Leafs, but the whole concept of mentioning this hot dog info was childish, and to boot he got the info wrong.
I watched that TSN clip the other day, Simmonds thinks this is all about him.

When you are as good at something as Phil is and have put up with the nonsense from the Toronto media he has I find it an incredible skill to not take yourself so seriously. Phil has Yoda level self awareness.
