Not that they deserve it. Not that it's an excuse.

But the Sox have gotten no luck in this series. So many line drives and hard hit balls that just happen to be scalded right at Indians infielders.

Hitting coaches really need to work on Bogaerts' swing. I imagine I might get some "who the hell are you?" responses, but Bogaerts doesn't follow through properly on his swing. His top hand comes off very early and he doesn't put nearly enough of his body into it.

No issues with bogaerts tonight, he has swung the bat well. It's really too bad we won't have benintendi hitting in the 9th. For ****'s sake, just a stupid, stupid move.

I've reconsidered. It was shortsighted taking Benintendi out with Miller being their only lefty. Should be an easy 1, 2, 3 for Allen next inning if he gets Young out.

There's a certain game, a certain number of years ago, that may have started a certain comeback that set up exactly like this.

I am just saying....

Quick, get Roberts over here from LA.

The Sox haven't had much BABIP luck in this series, but the first game was on Porcello. So with a game 1 win they could afford to lose today.

It was a mistake to PH for Benintendi. We could use his bat against RHP here. Young should have been used in JBJs spot. But everyone but Farrell knew that already 1 Inning ago. AB was bound to bat one more time after that.
