First off, Schenn? So overrated.

Second, not worried about Thornton's speed. Elite vision and passing will benefit the speedsters that can finish his passes. Thornton isn't the finisher, he creates space and chances.

I believe I read today that the Rangers have approx 23 million in cap space. If so would u take

Shatty at 6-6.5--he lives just outside NY and loves the city,he also spends most of the summer out in the Hamptons with his family. Thinking maybe he takes a discount at 5years 6-65.

Smith signs a 4 year deal 4-4.25.

Hanzal signs 2-3 years at 3-3.5

Somewhere in the draft trade Holden for a 3rd pick ??

Schenn more offense, Stepan 2 way play and a leader with quiet offense but still produces. I would say valued similarly in a vacuum but entirely differently based on which team is trading for Stepan/Schenn.

I think they're going after Shattenkirk and I don't think Gorton is done at center either.

Gorton seems to be going for speed and possession. Kevin Hayes is not those things.
