If we're going with a Western Theme, someone has to make an avatar featuring The Good (Bergeron), The Bad (Hayes), and The Ugly (Marchand).

Following along the western theme, a buddy of mine suggested these:
I like the western theme, it revolves around Cassidy and there's room for customization. I'm no visual artist so someone else will have to mock up my vision in photoshop, but here's how I see it:
The Main (and final) panel will be "Bruce Cassidy and the Stanley Cup Kids". Before that is room for a player starring in the movie as a character with a fitting name. Some lend themselves very easily to this, i.e.
[Frame 1] Adam McQuaid as Mad Dog McQuaid in [frame 2] Bruce Cassidy and the Stanley Cup Kids
Obviously jazz it up with photoshop to make it western-like. I've already come up with a list of characters that can be used in addition to the decent ones already mentioned in the thread.
David Pastrnak as Spaghetti Western
Kevan Miller as The Hateful 86
Frank Vatrano as The Springfield Rifle
Jimmy Hayes as The Man With No Goals
JM Liles as The Magnificent Seventh Defenseman
David Krejci as Chief Krejci Horse
Drew Stafford as Shotgun Stafford
David Backes as True Grit
Brandon Carlo as Rooster J. Carlo
Etc.
Seems like a feasible scheme if someone is willing to do the 'shopping

I love it... I was just thinking about "The Hateful 88" for Pasta a few hours ago.

This. A number of the players have the hats that are the 'Boston' ones but not Boston Bruins. They have the same colours and I ordered a hat when they clinched.
I had to buy a new hat anyways from tossing mine onto the Canucks ice courtesy of Marchand!

They weren't mine as I am nowhere near that creative. They were put together by a longtime lurker who'd rather not post. A Crazy Radical I Know.
I played around with it a little. It's a lot of text for a 125x125 avatar.
The best looking thing I could do was to make the first frame say "Bruce Cassidy and the Stanley Cup Kids" in yellow/goldish western font with a black background. It takes up the entire frame. The second would be a picture of whatever Bruin with a brownish-sepia filter saying "Springfield Rifle"/"Hateful 86"/etc.
I'm really bad with photoshop so if someone else has experience, please, try to do it better than me. I'll upload a sample or something later tonight when I get home if no one else wants to.
I'm coming up with a couple images - but not on the "western" theme... More towards the "Tradition" theme...
not in love with any of this but it was fun to play with. I hope the B's playoff muscle memory is better than my photoshop muscle memory. yikes. been a long time.
