2017-2018 Debut Year Teams #1 D Pairing

Thanks to everyone for voting in the 2018-2019 Debut Year Teams Polls. We have the team selected for that year, today we move onto the 2017-2018 polls and see the selection of the 1st d pairing, #1 goalie, #2 goalie (There were only 2 goalies to debut in 2017-2018 to have played in 210 GP so we'll vote there, the most votes is #1 goalie and the backup goalie will be the one with the least votes) and head coach. Also I know there was some discussion about the positions of the players but I decided players based upon the position listed for them on hockey reference.com.

The purpose of these polls is to select a debut year team of 12 forwards, 6 defenseman, 2 goalies and a coach for each season between 1995-1996 and 2018-2019 which would be 24 in total. At the end of the team selection polls those 24 teams will be put into a 24 team 6 group round robin similar to the current Euros tournament in soccer (football).
