Exactly. How is it that the last two draft days, the B's have needed other teams and players to bail them out of stupid moves? Going after Hamhuis when he's stated he wants to go back to Vancouver this year, and last year having Buffalo turn down a Spooner for Chris Stewart offer.

I have zero faith in this front office's decision making abilities...

Totally agree. To give them the benefit of the doubt they are in a tough spot this year caught in mid rebuild mode and are in playoff contention. Tight walking both sides aint easy. I think they absolutely have to move Eriksson because there is no way he sign here after the season. He will be looking to maximize his worth with one more contract and that aint happening here.

What does Pierre mean Boston would like a mulligan on Dougie deal? what the **** is that clown talking about

That Sweeney wishes he had not made that trade... It was a bad trade then and it continues to be a bad trade. Sweeney hasn't done much right to be honest and it looks like he will stand pat and overpay for Louie to re-sign or let him walk for nothing... I think Sweeney is starting to find out that it is harder to wear the crown than it is to wear a track suit and be a ra-ra guy...

Reporter: Why did you not make any moves Don?
Don: The prices were too high to buy?
Reporter: So why didn't you sell if they prices were high?
Don: We didn't get an offer we liked.
Reporter: But you have the #1 trade chip. Aren't you setting the prices?
Don: This interview is over. As a buyer they were too high and as a seller they weren't high enough.

Sound about right?

Getting closer to that..

Oh he would have? How do you know that?

And I stand by my statement, I'd rather go the whole year trying to re sign him then get that garbage Vanek got.

Sweeney's last offer was 4x 5.25M, that's not even close to getting it done, if he re-signs him after deadline he'd have to pay him much more than he wants to.
Lou has the control in 1 hour.

I'm still worried about Talbot, has anybody seen him since he wandered off during practice? How long before someone can file a missing persons report?

I heard he left the rink and he is doing most of the leg work in person on the up coming trades today on DS behalf.....:D

It's cuz of what Captain Stone said about him yesterday in another thread...calling him a piece of trash and all. He drove him to it.

Why would Donnie even go after Hamhius if he doesn't want to play here. Just stupid.
but does he or postering

not believing everything u read here lot of planted **** trust me

Lol exactly. What is he going to say??

I don't know what this guy is doing. Are we rebuilding or are we going for it, one or the other. We are a lukewarm team and that doesn't work in this league.

I am taking a different take with the last two drafts and primary recruitment leading to signing of future Bruins college FAs Czarnik, Vatrano, and Accairi

getting those three kids is epic

really incredible he pulled that off

you guys can think Sweeney is a fail after today but just remember to check in a few years

I can give him that. Not sold on De Brusk pick at all though.I liked the deal with Sharks for 1st for Jones. But today is critical to Bruins growth.Loui has to go or be signed. And to gamble letting it go past today is not smart buisness unless your Jacobs praying for playoff gate or 2..He still has 52 minutes .lol

I wanted Don to get a little help in the back end for this year and I wanted to get better down the road and that includes trading Erikson for something.

I liked what RedEye said about waiting until June 24th (Draft) to know if DS had failed.

Up to this point I think he's done well. I think this team is on the right track.

But today was a real chance to solidify things until the draft and he chose (there's 53 minutes left) to not do anything. Like last year when they could have benefitted from some back end help.

IMO he waited too long for the Erikson deal and now he may end up walking with nothing to show for it.

I was really hoping something would be done. Buy AND sell.

Go Bruins.
