WC: 2016 Team Denmark

The tricky part of this roster is our incredibly depleted center position, that now also saw Anders H. Poulsen out after breaking his hand against Latvia.

Just to recap:
Frans Nielsen (NHL playoffs)
Peter Regin (injured)
Lars Eller (in)
Julian Jakobsen (opted out)
Jesper Jensen (injured)
Morten Madsen (in) - though he normally plays wing.
Morten Green (in)
Anders H. Poulsen (injured)

We might be forced with playing Mads Christensen as center, but he is a bit light weight for that role.

Lars Eller is clear first center.
Morten Madsen will most likely take the third center.
So Morten Green on second center and Mathias Bau Hansen on 4th center OR Morten Green on 4th center and Mads Christensen on second center?
Probably still Eller - Christensen - Madsen - Green would be the best starting option, but any more injuries on center position would be catastrophic.

Apparently Kirill Starkov has played center on his team in NLB in Switzerland (correct me if I'm wrong). Could that be an option for the second line to get it a bit more weight?

So how to spread the wing talent along these centers, if we don't get any more addition from neither NHL AHL (Frans Nielsen, Mikkel Bødker, Oliver Bjørkstrand & Nicklas Jensen)?

Ehlers - Eller - Hansen
Storm - Starkov/Christensen - P. Bjørkstrand (Storm + Bjørkstrand usually as wings around Jesper Jensen)
Christensen/Starkov - Madsen - Russell/Spelling/From (or to young?)
Morten H. Poulsen - Green - Russell/Spelling

Aagaard, Bau Hansen reserves, but could also exchange on the wings on the 3rd or 4th line.
 
The team start to look solid.

C is obviously a problem - bummer that Regin got injured.

Put Regin and Larsen (and O Lauridsen) there and a quarterfinal would be realistic.

Add Nielsen, Andersen and Bødker to that and we are talking fight for medals imo.

Whoever we can get of Nielsen, Larsen and Andersen would be a huge lift to the team.
Our best C, D and G respectively.
But it doesn't look to good.

Hartford is out so that´s the end of the season for Nicklas Jensen. Will he play in Russia or join Rangers?
 
Nice match today against France (2:1). Dahm played great. Both teams make a lot of mistakes in their defense zones. Full house in Paris suprised me.
 
Felix Scheel, the player of Björklöven, has just left the team. Nicolaj Ehlers will be added this week, he is prepared to play on thursday against Norway. Lars Eller and Hansen will join the team before the flight to Russia. Is there something new about Nicklas Jensen from Hartford?
