If you are talking Simon Bourque, he's not old enough for the AHL. Not sure they can fit in all those guys under the 50 limit. They badly need to fix the defense or it's going to be ugly for the goalies.

Was really hoping Dumont was come back. The guy was a warrior. Good luck Captain Dumont

Reway - Macmillan - De la Rose
Friberg - Audette - Bozon
XXXX - Crisp - Grégoire

Hanley - Johnston
Parisi - Lernout
XXXX - Thrower

I would add:

Jeremiah Addison (LW) (could be signed to a NHL deal)
Reid Duke (C) AHL deal
Markus Eisenschmid (C) (could be signed to a NHL deal or AHL deal again)

I guess they don't want Angelo Miceli back, he wasn't invited to development camp.

For D,

Colton Bobyk (LD) Canadiens seem to like him. Could be signed to a AHL deal.

I guess Didier isn't coming back.

They would still need a vet scorer or two + a vet D for leadership and try actually making the PO for once.

Because right now, who gets the C? Hanley?

Good question. All the players that wore a letter last year are gone...Dumont, Holloway, Ellis, and Bournival when Holloway was injured If I remember correctly.
Barberio also had a leeter but I don't see him playing in the AHL no more.

I sure hope they don't make the same mistake they did last year in Montreal and give the letters to all young guys.....we all seen how that worked out. I can see one young player like McCarron or Lernout getting a letter but they will need to surround them with some veteran leadership.

That lineup shouldn't strike fear into the hearts of many opponents. Lots of holes to fill and Lefebvre is going to have his work cut out for him

The team really needs a take charge vet on defense or there's going to be trouble. A guy like TJ Brennan would make a world of difference. There's still a lot of time to work on the farm team luckily.

we'll have to see how it ends up since it's only July but so far that lineup looks terrible. The most interesting thing to me is, what position does Scherbak play, how do they handle Reway and how Lindgren does.

oh man Scherbak and Reway on the same line possibly? most skilled team we've had there in a long time imo. and skill from actual potential NHLers not career AHLers. Definitely the best group of forward prospects we've had on the farm since forever. I swear MB's drafted really really well and we're going to finally start seeing the fruits of it very soon.

Redmond and/or Samuelsson may be added to the defense. I can't see Montreal carrying 8 defensemen and certainly not nine. I wouldn't mind seeing one more quality d-man added along with a couple of veteran forwards.

Pasquale had a statistically decent year last year; if Lindgren can be better and if Fucale can continue to develop (improve) the goaltending would be in good hands

Ice Dogs look really thin at RW. A couple of interesting forwards are Linden Vey and T.J. Hensick. Vey has scored well in the AHL before but may want to go to a team where he has a better chance of landing an NHL job.

I see we have all overlooked Lehkonen for this list. At least I overlooked him. With the signing of Radulov and Shaw my guess his that he will suit up of the Ice Caps to begin the year.

Besides assigning Samuelsson to St. John's, barring injury, the Habs will not have all four of Redmond, Barberio, Flynn and Matteau in the lineup. The organization also has five goalies under NHL contract (not including Pasquale).

Even Flynn could be send in the AHL.

Pasquale has signed with Detroit.

I imagine on of Fucale or Lindgren will be the starter in Brampton.

I think Lehkonen has a good chance of breaking camp with the Habs this season. I see Lehkonen, Carr, Ghetto and Hudon fighting for the 2nd and 3rd line LW spot.
Both Carr and Ghetto would have to clear waivers so that also could be a deciding factor of who stays.
Don't see Carr being waived at all but if Lehkonen has a great camp I can see them waiving Ghetto and him clearing and playing with the Caps.
