Line Combos: 2016-17 Team

So we have a #1 goalie in Carey Price, #1 defenseman in PK Subban, #1 winger in Max Pacioretty, #1 center in Alex Galchenyuk heading into next season.

We need stronger and better supporting cast.

Here's my lines projections.

I hope the lineup will look something like this;

but then I don't know what they should do with guys like Andrighetto and Hudon. I feel like we can find a trade for Emelin, Desharnais and Mitchell.

We need size. Badly. Currently projected to make the lineup; Gallagher, Andrighetto, Plekanec, Byron, Lehkonen, Mitchell, Hudon, Desharnais (stuck with him).... That's like half of our forward lineup made up of sub 5'10" players... And really they are our best options so It's hard to exclude any of them (except DD).

Management needs to make some serious moves this offseason all throughout the lineup. Out of that group of small players I would keep Pleks, Lehkonen, Hudon. I'd keep Andrighetto if there are no better options. One of Mitchell/Byron as a 13th forward. Taking that into consideration I'd go with...

Finding a winger will probably be easier than finding a top 4 dman though.
