Leaf fan posts thread titled "If Leafs Win the Cup - Greatest Playoff Cinderella Story of All Time?" before the Leafs even play a game, then wonders out loud in that very thread why people hate Leaf fans. You couldn't write this ****.

San Jose's OT comeback against the Oilers, and its demonstration of the value of playoff experience, makes me glad the B's are in the tournament, even if they don't go far. And with the way the brackets are, Conference Finals are not out of the question (I know, I'm getting ahead of myself after just one game).

I'm curious how the hiring of Ken Hitchcock was received among Dallas players. I imagine Seguin will no longer be hanging out by the ice girls, waiting for that stretch pass and highlight reel goal? ;)

Kidding aside, I guess I must've read something wrong last off season, as I thought Hitch was retiring.

Still can't believe the Habs lost on a goal by Tanner Glass. I've read threads at the Rangers' board over the years, and their fans' opinion of him is about that of B's fans and Jimmy Hayes.

I don`t see the Leafs performing any Cinderella story this playoffs but I`ll tell ya one thing, if there`s a team who could actually skate with the Caps and will cause them headaches it`s them

Still have the Caps in 5 but it won`t be an easy 5 other than tonight in which I anticipate a blowout. The Leafs kiddies will get a lesson tonight and they`ll do what they have done all year, regroup and be ready for the next game

Toronto Sun compares the cost of attending a playoff game in Toronto versus Washinton in the attached link. The economics of supply and demand for consumers. Can easily see why the NHL could easily have 2 teams in Toronto.

"Want to see the Buds in their first playoff appearance since 2013?
What about the Cherry Blossom festival in Washington?
You can do both in D.C. — for around the same price as seeing the Maple Leafs playing the Capitals in Toronto."

Had a look in the Habs PGT. Man, you'd think someone died. They're such a bunch of debbie downers  They lost 1 game, the world is ending.

One poster with a fantasy story, so what? He's probably a kid.

One of our posters suggested we should be talking dynasty, not just a Cup. After one playoff win.

Not everyone hates Leaf fans. I certainly don't.
