They will actually be playing on both the hybrid and full Olympic size..two rinks are being used for the tournament.

Hmm, that could be a disadvantage for those teams that will have to play in both rinks. I think that's everybody in Canada's group.

I didn't see that much, but what I saw of Dubois I thought he looked good. There are others I would cut before him. But oh well, he'll get another chance next year.

So just the 1 cut or are there more to come? Figured they'd be more. 13 minutes since Dubois was announced, usually they announce them closer together if there's more to come

No surprise at all, they probably have Gauthier making the team though. Whens the last time 2 under aged players made it? Mack and Drouin? I dont think they played much anyway.

On the contrary. Players shouldn't be feeling entitled to a spot. Even if it is Strome, Marner Crouse or whatever. They should be right there with their other teammates fighting for a spot. While the teammates they'll be on the frontline with are fighting for a spot on the team, they're basically watching high above in a deluxe suite. I just think it forms a disconnect between them. Similar to the 2013 WJ Canadian team.

I agree that the structure is strange. There is such a limited amount of prep time. No need to hand things to some players and also reduce their time to find cohesion.

According to Mark Master's:

Dubois got cut.

Thoughts?

Disappointing, Canada's weakest side is on the left and Dubois could fill in nicely as 13th forward or in the fourth line LW spot. By all rights Dal Colle should be cut today.
