Yea I'm not sure how anyone can complain. This was the best they could do with what they had.

People can complain about lots of things. Because hindsight rules. Decisions are great until they aren't. Players are playing well until they aren't. Things are defensible until they aren't. Story of being a fan sometimes. Everything plays out to a narrative. A narrative that you helpfully don't have to right until after events have unfolded.

This was a team that people gave up for dead in like May. And they're in the 9th inning of a 1-run game 6 in the LCS. They're basically playing with house money at this point. And there's not much tonight that or most of the time with regards to game management that I would classify as egregiously bad enough to be worth some of the venom that gets directed at gibbons or Price or whoever.
