Love the Curtis Glencross deal. Basically allows the Flames to upgrade to Hamilton and Kylington

Considering the Flames made it to the 2nd round without Glencross, they are free upgrades :handclap:

Not sure I love this pick (well compared to the first 3 players we picked up) but at least I'll get to see him this year to make a better judgement.

Good sign that hes playing in the CHL.
I think the good sign is that he plays in Calgary for a team the Flames own, so we would have more insight into his character than we would other Russian players.

Pilon went 147th overall to the Islanders. Maybe I'm not the only one questioning his character?

Implying? No, not all all.

I am outright saying it. You see a higher percentage of Russian players with entitlement issues than any other nationality. I think much of it is the fact back home they are treated differently by the government for simply being hockey players.
