Not to be that homer, but I think the Oilers overpaid and by that I don't mean the 2nd rounder was too much. I feel like Griffin's upside nowadays is a middle pairing defender - worth a first, but not 16 + 32 overall. Islanders got a very respectable return.

If the Oilers organization believe Griffin's the one to build around, they'll be sorely disappointed.
