It feels a lot like those first two games against the Sharks in 2014 where every miscue turned into a major problem.

Not saying LE has been lucky because they're obviously very good as well and are just making us pay, but I have a hard time believing they're gonna keep getting everything going their way.

Let's hope Ontario gets some lucky bounces today. Game at 4 p.m. PST.

Sheng is with the team and providing some great coverage.

Reign seem to have met their match. Down 3-0 in the 1st

Just got in and I see the Reign are down 4-0 and goalie of the year Budaj has been pulled. My reaction?

Can we just forfeit Game 4 and save ourselves the embarrassment?

This just gets better and better. Lowry gives Lake Erie their 5th power play of the night. LE hasn't been on the penalty kill yet this game.

When Lake Erie makes the Calder Cup finals, I'll be rooting for them. What a way to neutralize the top Western Conference team. Impressive.

Lake Erie gets its first penalty now.

I particularly liked hearing a "ref you suck" chant from the LE crowd, seeing as they were given more power play chances in this game alone than the Reign have had all series.

I guess they needed something to complain about tonight, otherwise tonight would have been all sunshine and rainbows for Lake Erie. I caught the very beginning of the game and then from partway through the 3rd period on. Heard a "Ontario, you suck!" before the puck even dropped. I would have enjoyed that more if this had been a real rivalry game like the Gulls series, instead of a spanking.

Thanks again for the Reign coverage, Sheng and JewelsfromtheCrown.com. Above and beyond to travel to Columbus with the team. Also, much appreciation for you, Lindsay and Jason getting the recaps and interviews up quickly this season. It's been a good season overall for the Reign and I think this series is a useful learning experience for the players and especially, the staff.

Fans can also check out Bus Texts with Stothers and player interviews at ReignInsider.com

Mersch has only 2 goals in 12 playoff games....44 shots and only 2 goals. 4.6 shooting percentage. Far cry from his 13 goals in 18 games last years playoffs. Between this and his skating, just not seeing a spot for him on the Kings...they need speed.

My pleasure PJ. Just doing what I can for you guys, hope to really dig in more next year for you all. Yea extra props to Sheng for heading out there to Cleveland. Truly great stuff.

Thank you for the constant support, PJ. It's much, much appreciated. Here are practice quotes from today + had a good chat with Lombardi, which I'll post on main board later today.

Since LE is really that good, what are they doing wasting their time
playing The Reign, when they could be destroying ISIS and conquering Russia and China?

Calder Cup is small potatoes for LE.
I say, give it to them now.

God is better than LE, but only by a little.
:amazed:

The Hershey Bears also have a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Toronto Marlies. They crushed them with a 8-2 win. Could be seeing a sweep in both Conference Finals.

8-2. I guess we shouldn't feel so bad then. And the Marlies were the best in the league during the regular season.

Lake Erie on the board right after ONT killed a Paul LaDue penalty. 1-0.

Ontario Reign is getting some power plays tonight.

Lake Eric goalie Anton Forcefield still keeping Ontario players at bay.

Justin Auger high-sticking penalty ends the power play. Is anyone watching AHL Live? I'm relying on the radio feed at http://mixlr.com/ontarioreign/ and on tweets.

Gotta' give a tip of the hat to The LE Monsters.
They have some great offensive chemistry going there, along with D & G that
looks hot right now. Not unlike The Kings in 2012.

But I enjoyed watching our wonderful Ontario Reign all year.

Going out to Ontario for a game (and a buffet), was something
that spiced up 5 of my weekends this season,
and will be part of more than that next season, for sure.

The team showed tight defense, smart counter-attacks and a great team system with
quick breakouts that confounded opponents all season. I enjoyed the heart and smarts
of the Reign players, the intelligence of their coach,
and congratulate them on a fine season (a great reg season record and
final 4 PO run ain't too shabby, let's face it).
I also look forward to seeing some of these guys on The Kings next season, or soon after.

But for now, I say ...
GO REIGN!!

:handclap::yo::handclap:

Thanks to you, Sheng and everyone else for covering the series, especially for those of us who were unable to watch the games.

A shame to see the Reign go out in a sweep in the Conference Finals, seemed like they suffered from the same offensive woes that plagued the parent club during the post season.

Really feels like that 2013 Game 5 loss in OT to Chicago where the Kings went down swinging valiantly even if it was still relatively early in the series. Love seeing that and the killer effort even if the result wasn't there.
