Yeah, we should totally get rid of the guy who scored in the last three games.
You're right, let's bench him. Play Hurtado who was ice cold for 3-4 games but was still starting and doing nothing on or off the ball.Anyone can get hot. Mattocks does not score at the rate he should given how often the Whitecaps possess the ball and how much playing time he gets.

One mistake = last game?Pretty sure Carlyle Mitchell just played his last game. How on earth do you ignore your keeper on a ball in the air, and then pull up your arm like that?
One mistake = last game?
That's pretty ridiculous, even for this forum. O'Brien is still hurt and DeMerit just retired. Christian Dean is not becoming a starter with no backup because Mitchell made an error, no matter how costly.
That's because DeMerit retired. The chances of someone new taking Mitchell's place by Wednesday are zero to none.Well, you can start off by signing someone, which is what the Whitecaps front office appears to be trying to do.
Koffie has been awesome this year. Great to see a youngster developing so well.Oh and besides Morales, who was worth the price of admission by himself, I thought Koffie had a tremendous game as well, constantly breaking up attacks and striding forward with the ball. He has really come into his own this year.
Then he went on to do absolutely nothing in the next 5. My logic is, there's no point in benching Mattocks when the next option, Hurtado, is ice cold. A bench stint was needed for Hurtado and I'd keep him there until Mattocks stops scoring. It's not hard logic to understand.Hurtado scored goals in 5 straight games, so by your logic he should be playing over Mattocks.
