They paid some FIT intern or perhaps Dolan did the design himself and came up with a jersey that's the least costly to make in order to max profits. Simple as that. This design has no thought to it.

I just don't think we needed another cross chest N E W Y O R K jersey, but it's ok.
Was hoping for a gaudy version of that throwback from the late 70s and 2003(?) with all the shiny and sliver.

I like these more than the normal white jerseys. I just wish we would play one of these games as the home team so we can get a nice home jersey but I read somewhere MSG has the right to all home games so that won't happen

These jerseys are hideous, which will make it easy not to spend any more of my money on this team.
The lettering from the "A" and the "NEW YORK" does not match which is a huge eyesore and the overall set up and scheme of the jersey looks like something the Wolf Pack would wear. These are a huge disappointment considering they knocked it out of the park IMO with the last two jerseys they have unveiled (Heritage and Winter Classic).
The whole futuristic thing the NHL was going for with these jerseys was a huge mistake. All the jerseys they have released have looked horrible. Didn't they try some future crap with the jerseys like this back in the 90's and it produced a set of equally horrific jerseys?

This is all due to the Coors sponsorship. They evidently want the lettering to match their "silver bullett" motif.

Not a huge fan. Think they're better than the Isles jerseys, though. So at least when we lose we'll look good doing it.

the commercial was funny, the jersey blows. i guess its ok for the other teams to have a jersey like that, but its just not a ranger jersey. doesn't have the feel of one at all. its generic crap, but thanks for saving my money this year NHL and the rangers, thank you very much!

I like and hate this jersey. They butchered the Rangers jersey. I thought it would have been really, really cool if they kept the "New York" but had the white Liberty template, but updated to fit the edge model.
