Colin Fraser has got to be the luckiest NHL player on earth. Just so happens t o be on 3 cup winning teams while greats such as Inginla has yet to drink from the cup. At least Fraser was a contributor to one of three runs.

I used to feel that way about him until he put Boston down as one of his teams and wouldn't take the trade there. (In 2013) That Boston team went to the SCF too. Then he signed there the next year.......

He got what he deserved IMO

As far as Fraser...everyone should be happy for the guy. He might lack talent, but he brings it , every shift of every game.

Can't argue there.

Yes. Better days ahead for the Islanders.

Fingers crossed. The minority ownership to start means Chas Wang sticks around for a little longer. I guess he wants to savor the last season at the old barn and the first at Barclays with all the monetary benefits that comes with these year long celebrations.

Hopefully they will force him to run the Isles like a big league franchise and end the minor league shenanigans we've witnessed for too long.

Better days should definitely be on the horizon. The talent is there and more help is coming from the farm. The Isles defensive prospects are only second to Buffalos at this point. By 2015-16 Hamonic, deHaan, Pulock, Reinhart, Pokka, Pelech and Hickey should be ready to take the reigns. Still wish the Isles could have gotten Bernier although Halak is not too bad as long as he stays healthy.

I really hope the new owners tap some proven managerial talent from the Kings or another well run franchise to replace Snow and Capuano.

Can't wait for October.
GKG!

If the new owners are smart, their first order of business should be to boot Snow to the curb. Still mind boggling how he messed up the whole Vanek deal. But, no, they cannot have any of the Kings managerial talent. We're quite comfortable having a winning formula in the front office. :)

But we'll trade Blake to Isles for Tavares!!
