This is the 2nd pic I've seen where Kopi's right ankle looks really trashed
Man, that ankle looks bad. Any idea how long it's been like that?

MOst likely since he healed. A break like that can cause arthritis and swelling to that affected joint and weight plays a large role in that. I have Osteoarthritis in both knees and I know when it was diagnosed, the doctor mentioned other forms of arthritis, including Post-Traumatic Arthritis which occurs after fractures or breaks. I remember his saying that an injured joint (sujch as Kopi's) is something like 10 times more likely to develop arthritis because the damage to the joint changes the mechanics of how it works. For non athletes, you do NSAIDS, ice it up when it swells, etc.) for him I'm guessing he might get shots like cortisone or something to help during the season with pain and swelling. Given how long the season is and how much stress he puts on that joint, eventually the non surgical methods (shots, meds, icing) don't work anymore and the athlete gets the joint 'cleaned out' which I think it called 'debriding'.

John Stevens had the Cup in Sea Isle today perched in a rowboat on the beach.
Thousands turned up and stood in line (at one point the news crew reported the line was over 8 blocks long) to see it. This photo is a shot of a long , long, long line of fans waiting on the beach to see it.
This articles is mostly tweeter photos of the Cup on the beach and you can see how long the line is, lots of photos.

For now this is the best I can do. There is some pics reoccurring and some that shouldn't be there, my bad. I will edit this and post a better version when i get back home.These pics are actually clips from my camera and I haven't had the time to figure out how that bloody thing works. So quality and some pics as well are missing. I don't have free internet access and all so far has been done on a mac which is new to me, so please go easy on me here.

First comment - "Who cares ,Lets go Rangers!"
Two Gold Medals wrapped around two Stanley Cups.
And the kid isn't even 25 yet.
He looks great.
If he can keep in good shape until training camp this guy is gonna be nails come next season. I love the guy's intensity, he isn't going to rest on his laurels, he is going for max Cups in his career and he is truly something special.
And even though arguments could be made for Conn Smythe awards in both 2012 and 2014, I believe he will win one before his career is over.
