Gaborik in Slovakia w/ the cup.

This is awesome... late 2013, at the soda bar in san diego. I was working for a band called the Minor Alps.
Backstage i was streaming the amazing comeback Kings vs. Islanders win. The guitar tech for the opening band, LARRY, comes up and starts to watch the game with me.
He begins to tell me that he's been a diehard fan since the early 70's... so we then we start bonding over our common interests which is rock and roll touring
and being a mega kings fan. It's a treat to randomly meet kings fans but it's even awesomer when you meet someone in the line of work you're in,
especially one that's a mega crazy fan.

Fast Forward to yesterday... Larry now Guitar Techs for the awesome AFGHAN WHIGS.. and they played in Trencin Slovakia yesterday... these pictures tell the rest of the story.

GOOD FOR LARRY! These pictures brought a huge smile to my face.
also nice to see the Roadies get some of the glory on stage.

gaborik showed up to an existing slovakian rock festival and got on stage in b/w performances..

in my photos above.. that is my friend LARRY who works for the afghan whigs who were playing the festival.
