@BroadStBull "NHL has chaged sked format again. Teams will only play teams in same div. 4x. More details coming." This was retweeted by @Aportzline
@APortzline "All signs continue to point to #CBJ at Nashville #Preds on Jan. 19 then home to host Detroit #RedWings in Nationwide Arena on Jan. 21."
Yeah... and Dineen is the frontrunner, right?
Disappointed the home opener is a Monday. It is so hard on me to make weekday games living 2 hours away and having to be at work between 6 - 7 am.
Kim & I are thinking of making the trip to Nashville. It will be interesting to see how many STH's from Nashville will get tix and how many will be available on ticketmaster.
I'm a STH and opening night tickets are free for us as far as I know. Regardless, you shouldn't have that much difficulty in getting tickets for the game. Before becoming a STH I always used StubHub instead of TM.
While waiting for the schedule to officially be released, I compiled what I could of the CBJ schedule from other teams' "leaked" schedules. So obviously, don't consider this official but so far we've got:
1/19 (Saturday) at Nashville
1/21 (Monday) vs Detroit 7:30
1/26 (Saturday) vs Chicago 7:00
2/2 (Saturday) vs Detroit 7:00
2/21 (Thursday) at Detroit 7:30
2/24 (Sunday) at Chicago 7:00
3/1 (Friday) at Chicago 8:30
3/9 (Saturday) vs Detroit 2:00
3/10 (Sunday) at Detroit 5:00
3/14 (Thursday) vs Chicago 7:00
Wonder if the 1/21 game is on NBCSN, 7:30 starts at Nationwide are rare
Also, what's up with the Sat. 2:00er on 3/9 against Detroit?

So Detroit is a 5er and we're done with them in early March? Seems weird to be done with division that early.
They're an older team and may be a little slow getting out of the gate. That could be a blessing.

OHSAA State Hockey Tournament is that weekend, with the Championship Game scheduled for Saturday 3/9 (time TBA). Could have something to do with that.
