Scott Clemmensen or Moose could have had a shutout this game playing behind this Kings teams. The two worst goalies in the league last year. Quick hasn't had to do ****. 12 shots in over 3 periods, and all but 3 were extremely routine.

The mistakes the Bruins made tonight were just abysmal, and ones you don't see every game. It's not like they need to clean up a whole lot to win game 5. The first Rangers goal usually doesn't go in in most any game. Rask was tripped by the invisible man.

Chara's soft play on Stepan there usually doesn't happen. The Rangers PP goal happened after a brutal missed slashing call, and Chara on that OT goal from what I remember struck again.

I can be superstitious at times with the Devils, which jersey to wear, lucky hat.

This game is almost exactly like game 3 of the SCF last year. Only I'm pretty sure Quick had to make more quality saves that game than he did tonight.

Was scoreless for quite a bit, and we really couldn't get anything going. Our power play was also embarrassing to watch that night just like the Sharks has been tonight. You just knew as soon as the Kings scored it was gonna be a shutout.

I'm just not sure why you're so afraid of the Bruins collapsing. I'll tell you what though, if the Rangers win the next game then I'll be a little worried.

Guys, Bruins will not lose this series. This is totally different than in 2010. They are a lot healthier than they were in 2010 and are flat out better than the Rangers. In 2010, even when they were up 3-0, they didn't look that great.

Horrendous coaching by him and in offseason he brought in his best buddy (Kompon) to run PP and it has been absolute disaster

Also refusal to put Sharp back at C and go with scrubs/garbage as #2 C has killed over last few years

So Patrick Kane played 2 shifts in the final 12 minutes of the game tonight and Michael Roszival played more minutes than Nick Leddy and Brent Seabrook combined. Looks like Quenneville is getting his Brent Sutter on.

Quick leads the NHL playoffs in GAA (1.50) and save percentage (.948). 5 of the 11 games the kings have surrendered 30 or more shots. That's a pretty amazing statline & I don't even like the guy. He's on pace to replicate last year's sterling numbers, despite the King's defense being depleted (see Greene and Mitchell).

Give me a break, he wasn't even tested until the 3rd period. Scott Clemmensen or Hedberg (Worst goalies in the league this year) could have shut them out in the first 2 periods. The Kings wouldn't even let them set up until the 3rd period.

Did you watch the game? Or just the shot counter? Quick could have eaten been in the bathroom the first 2 periods, and no goals are scored. Most of the shots, and most of the quality chances he faced were in the 3rd. Scoring chances were like 14-4 in favor of the Kings after the first 2 periods.

This wasn't a game where Quick stood on his head the entire game like game 1 of this series where the Sharks outplayed the Kings. The Kings outplayed the Sharks badly for the entire first 2 periods, and the Sharks weren't a whole lot better in the 3rd. They did have almost of their scoring chances in the 3rd though.

Was tempted to watch Rags getting swept in MSG, but slept through whole ordeal ... Thankfully. Kings winning on top of that. Utter disaster.
Like signing one Hugh Jessiman was not enough to ruin my day in first place ...

Rask's only 2 wins in clinching situations -- 4-3 vs. BUF in Game 6, 2010 ECQ, 5-4 OT vs. TOR in Game 7, 2013 ECQ (trailed 4-1 in 3rd).

I still like the Kings to win it all again. And if that happens it looks like Johnathan Quick will most likely win his 2nd straight Conn Smythe at the age of 27. Pretty absurd if you ask me.
