I have a feeling this might happen. The 2 teams that could never get over the hump in the playoffs finally do this season after being under the radar and starting so poorly.

This game was probably the series. I can't see the Rangers, with how much they struggle to score, winning 4 of 6 against this Washington team. There just on too much of a roll right now.

I agree, the blues are the most deserving of a cup in the league...their drought has gone on too long.

Kovy definitely looked better in his 2nd time in the playoff against the Flygirls than Nash looks out there. He's getting chances, but goes long periods of time where he is invisible.

Most series are going our way. Kings, Rangers, and Wild all down 2-0.

I think after last nights game I'm joining the Isles bandwagon at least for this series. After rallying back against the Penguins, and their ability not to stop playing they've now reeled me in. I'm not so bitter anymore that they got in. And no this doesn't mean I'm joining the DevIsles alliance either.

wow, the Rags are making my Rags in 5 prediction look really dumb. Capitals have been sensational so far, but I do feel for Lundpads, who continues to carry his team that just doesn't have the ability to put the puck in the net (same story for them every single year, you have to wonder when he's going to have enough of it)

I'm hoping the Leafs can get a big win tonight, but they looked awful in game 1 of their series (then again, so did NJ in game 1 of the Rags and Flyers series)

Really fun Rags/Caps game today though, Henrik carried his team as far as he could go, but there's only so much a goaltender can do when his team is allergic to scoring. Give Holtby credit, he is playing the best hockey of his career right now.

Sorry I missed it, but no haha not surprised. I'm glad Boudreau actually had the nerve to do it though. Is he a healthy scratch? Souray is probably one of the most overrated defensemen in the league right now. Big slapshot brah!

I'm neutral as far as that series goes, but you can't take that penalty after your team rallies back from a 3 goal deficit twice. The fact that I'm neutral on that series, I really wanted to see a long overtime that night too and he ruined it.

Yep. Healthy scratch. Souray said he's fine with it and anything to help the team. What you need to do is not take stupid penalties with 30 secs left in the 3rd after coming back from 3 down to tie it.

Yeah that was dumb. I'm not real pissed cause I'm neutral as far as that series goes. I don't care who wins really. I like Howard, Datsyuk, and some of the Red Wings guy, but I also like Teemu and some of the Ducks. I just wanted a long OT game, and it was short cause they scored cause of his dumb penalty.

They have him signed for 2 more years too. He got a huge raise after having a good season in Dallas last year. I think he's overhyped to be honest, but I bought into it last year. I never really cared for him when he played for us 15 years ago either. He's Marty's restaurant partner too in Montreal haha.

I'd take him on the Devils, but he's probably gonna cost a lot on his next contract.

If he gets injured this year like Marty did then the Rangers probably finish lower than we did. We all remember Biron as a starter for the Flyers.

In fact Lundqvist probably had to play more games this year than he otherwise would have. If the Rangers were in first place or were a lock for the playoffs all year then you probably would have seen more Biron. Since they were floundering around though they had to start him a lot cause their chances aren't so hot without him.
