Wow Lehner got burned bad, no deflection or screen. He was pissed after it went through, he wanted that one back.

Can the Bruins win it with 30 seconds left?

Nash might get 2-3 there. The intent looks pretty damned bad:

left his feet
targeted the head
used his elbow
his the guy from behind

Only one SE team is getting in most likely, though I guess it depends on us and the Rags. We obviously have been rather bad, hopefully we can put that behind us, and the Rags look like straight ****. There is no guarantees the Rags get in right now either.

So one point out of 6th and I think we have a game in hand on the Laffs?

No we've both played 31 games us and the Leafs. The Sens lost in regulation. I don't think Boston meant it, just a really bad goal by Lehner! Sens have played 31 also, but they are still 4 points ahead.

That isn't a lot considering we have a few games against them still. We can still catch them and give ourselves a decent cushion. Unless we somehow catch Pitt, I don't think I'd want to go any higher then 6th.

ya it looks like carolina, us, nyr, toronto, and the jets will be running around for those 3 spots plus the SE division winner. Hopefully no one below us gets us and makes a run in the final stretch.

Yea I think ideally we want the 6th again, better than facing the Habs/Bruins in the first round if we jump the Sens. 6th is definitely attainable, I think we can be better than the Leafs and Rags the rest of the season.

Leafs are at 31 games played after tonight

In watched Rangers MSG for five minutes and they already mentioned winning against Devils like what, eight times?

At least 8. Because they think that was a great win. Now how could they lose the Cats. Check the Nash hit out?

I'm still butthurt about losing that game, if we win a game we outplayed them in and the refs don't hand them a goal against the Canes the game earlier they could have been on 6 game losing streak and been 8pts behind us.

Canes just look to be in utter freefall at this point. They have lost 5 in a row now, the wheels start coming off soon I'd imagine. There only saving grace is the Jets are not playing great either. Same with us, the Laffs, and the Rags too. Think our crap days are behind us...well hopefully. Rags look like doo doo too so who knows, 6-8 is going to be a real fight to mediocrity.

What a cluster**** this season is going to turn out to be.

If the Caps hang on to win, they're only 3 points out of 8th and 5 points out of the division lead (with a game in hand).

Must feel like Groundhog's Day to those Jets fans.

Only 2 of the 4 goalscorers are the same, though... would have been amusing

Is Caps game on NHL network a replay of lasts night game?

Nope they're playing again. LA and Phoenix I think it was played two games on back to back nights in LA earlier this week.

Pens defense is a big joke too by the way. Couldn't even get a clear, not even Crosby.:help:
