I still can't believe Dougie Hamilton fell to 9th overall... Bruins just seem to have everything fall into place..

I know I complain about low scoring games being boring (see: San Jose vs. Detroit last Thursday Night), but This Detroit/Chicago game is probably the best game I've seen all year, beating out Philly/Pittsburgh. Scoring chances, fast pace, hard hitting, epic goaltending. This is why I love Hockey and this is how I love for Hockey to be played. Awesome Awesome Awesome game.
Well the Bruins didn't exactly give up a scrub to get those picks. Phil the thrill is legit.
It was entertaining, but neither team could execute a simple pass. But Detroit/San Jose wasn't boring...
I know, I didn't mention how they got the pick. Although Tyler Seguin isn't half bad either
I've never really been overly impressed with Seguin. Dougie Hamilton is a major prize though.
They both are. I watch all the Bruins games and Seguin is an amazing player. He plays impressively in all 3 zones, he's almost like a faster skating bigger built Couture. If he was on a more offensively oriented team I think his skill would be more evident.

Exactly. When I think of a boring game..i think of Sharks/Coyotes.
Or Sharks/Blues. I literally fall asleep on my keyboard watching those.

It was very sloppy but both teams played hard and physical. Sharks/Yotes is usually sloppy and boring with the Sharks outshooting the Yotes who sit back and wait.Ok, I grant you Sharks/Yotes was a much more boring game. Detroit/SJ was ok, but I felt it wasn't "exciting". Maybe a better term to describe that game would be "sloppy". Today's game though was crisp, fast, and just a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
The Oilers had no shots in the 2nd period vs Minnesota today
Thats putrid. I thought Edmonton was the dark horse?
They're gonna get the 1st overall again and draft Seth Jones.
It's hard to make an argument against how boring defensive hockey is when the total shot count is 5 after 15 minutes.
Kings have 6 shots after 2 periods.
They all look hung over out there.
