First year we didn't finish top 3 since the above mentioned 1998 team

Hicketts also tipped a puck into his own net as though he were Pavelski/Perry, putting his stick right in front of his goalie. Can’t remember if it was in the Finland game or another hotly contested game though.

It was against USA and I think that was a game-winning goal for USA in the group stage opener.

Wasn't Jones, Eichel, and Gibson on Team US? Team Canada was great on paper but Malcolm Subban didn't play well in net and US' big guys showed up

Subban was not the problem in 2013. The team never showed any chemistry and played very disjointed hockey with players in the wrong roles.
