I thought we played every team in our division 6 times under the new format. Not true? Looks like we play the Ducks 5 times (3 home and 2 away).
Wouldn't it make sense to play the other 6 teams in our division 6 times = 36 games in division
and the other 23 teams twice each =46 games out of division
total 82 games .
I swear it appears we only play the ducks 5 times on the current schedule. What am I missing?

I think it is 5 within division.
X amount with in conference
2 time against other conference.
Something like that.

Well when you have three Canadian Teams in your division your likelihood of being on CBC grows. I never did think about that until now.

Good thing there are 2 games in Winnipeg. It would be impossible for me to get tickets for the first one.
This looks so balanced. I didn't view the actual dates for any back to backs, but there's a lot of 4 away, 4 at home, 4 away, 4 at home.

I like that the last games we play are one against each in our division, hopefully makes things extra intense depending on how they're all doing.

Other than the 6 of 8 on the road to start the season, and 8 of 9 at home following that, the schedule is very well-balanced, no 12 of 14 home/away type stretches.

Boston January 20th? Hopefully I'm back in NH by then to see that. Also might drive to Ottawa and stay with my friend up there and go to that game.

No room when you have the same 4 east coast teams playing every weekend. Plus, 9 am start times wouldn't get much of a ratings score.
