I can buy up to 6 tickets for the Yankee Stadium games but I am only interested in the Devils game. If anybody is interested in the Islander game then contact me by email and we can work it out.

To clarify my previous post I laid out all the details in a subsequent post telling people they had to purchase specific regular season games at face value. If you do the math and purchase the Stadium Series game at face value and 2 regular season games at face value you are coming out ahead.
Even if as you say you could buy the regular season games on Stubhub for less than face value it would still be a good deal. You do the math.

I guess this guy thinks its fair that he only pay face value to the Yankee Stadium games when the market for that game will be very strong. In essence I thought my offer was actually better than paying a huge mark up for the Stadium games without any other stipulations of buying other games at face value.

So, what is wrong with that? I am going to buy a pair of tickets for the outdoor games. Wife and I are most likely going to the Sunday game against the Devils. Probably going to sell the Isles game, but not 100% sure. If I sell the Isles game, you can bet your bippy I am going to sell them for more than face value, but not offer any other tickets (already sold all the games for the season I want to sell). I don't see anything wrong with a guy asking you to buy 4 of his other tickets.

Trust me, the deal had me thinking for quite a while, but I don't have that kind of money to put down on 3 separate games at the moment. Plus, $135 for Western Conference games is also out of my price range for the most part.

I completely respect what he was doing, and I understand it was a great deal. I thank him for giving me the opportunity to have a shot at them.

When I logged in it gives you several choices of seating areas.

You don't get to select a particular section, just a general area.
After you select the price range and number of tickets it shows you the section, row and seat numbers that you can buy. If you don't want those seats you can try again. It is similar to a ticketmaster screen.

I didn't look that carefully but I believe they restricted me to certain price points.
I think my choices were 200, 300 or 400 level. They didn't give me an option for 100 level but I wouldn't want them anyway.

Alright thanks. We're in the $56 price point but we're looking at the 400 level so I'm hoping we're not restricted to the cheaper seats on the 100 level because we have the cheaper seats at MSG.
