Alright. Lowering prices for the game to $110 each.

Also, section 104 usually has former Rangers sitting in it. Rod Gilbert goes to lots of games. Obviously I can't guarantee it, but it's happened.

Is there often a high demand for games right before/after the holidays? Which I guess this year would be the 22nd and 23rd?

The highest

People who can't make most days in the season always make it a point to go around Christmas, and people take their family out as a gift. It doesn't even really matter if the team is in the basement. Prices go up instead of down as the games approach because there's so little available for sale

But there are 4 HGs within a week (12/18, 12/20, 12/22 and 12/23). Too much of a good thing IMO (but I did get 3x face for the 12/20 game).
 
The prices for the 12/20 game will be insane this year. A perfect storm, Friday night before Christmas against the Islanders.
 
Still almost 1200 tickets on stubhub for tonight, I'd expect to see some great deals later. Got tix to the Knicks for $25 last night at 7:27, I'd expect that Rangers tonight should be $10 or so super last minute.

The Rangers played the Sharks at home on Halloween a few years ago and the place had several thousand empty seats. When the schedule came out I expected this to be the easiest game to buy on the cheap. Looking ahead I think that from the Kings game on the interest will really pick up.

It's a good time to buy the Kings game because prices are low right now and the only visit for LA is always popular and prices go up last minute. Plus it's going to be on a Sunday

I'm not sure if a Sunday night in terms of prices is a good thing because it's the weekend, or a bad thing because it's a work/school night. It's also a bit deceptive, because there's only one 400's listing at the $52 opening price, after that the next tix are $67, and you have to go to $80 for a pair outside of the 400s. I could see those prices holding for a while though. Canes this weekend also seems to be picking up in the last few days.
