Less than 800!?!? Out of 18,200?? I know there's tons of STH's but STILL...why so few?

League will hold back a bunch, media, sponsors, etc.

I have Leafs seasons tickets. For a standard regular season home game, 1750 tickets are available to the general public. Majority of which are last two rows upstairs in the corner, and standing room. For the three playoff home games last year there was something like less than 200 available for each game. Mostly standing room. This was the first round.

ummmm it's the Stanley Cup Finals. To be honest, I would expect less than 50 tickets to be available on ticketmaster per game.

My guess was going to be like 25. Also guess that people who have been speaking with reps about possibly adding (lower) seats next year have been getting enticed to pony up for them with an offer to get the few remaining singles for this year.

18,000 seats, only 3 potential home games, so 54,000 seats total for the entire Stanley Cup Finals. Just for comparisons sake, Metlife Stadium holds 82,500 (50% more!!). Lots of that is STH who will be going 2 or 3 times so that's even less

This is basically the Super Bowl, only there's a lot less capacity. Every rich/famous person's agent is going to be calling MSG corporate asking for ticket allotments. MSG is going to do business with them before joe fan off the street. And then you have NHL & sponsor commitments. There are a lot of tickets that have to be set aside and that are claimed by the league

You know what a lot of people are gonna do? Fly to LA or Chicago and pay less with the plane & hotel included

I will have tickets for the finals, not sure which games i am selling yet though. I sit in section 226 row 9. 2 seats. I will also be helping my friend sell his tickets he has up to 6 together in section 226 row 22 or 23 I forgot.

Please check stubhub for an idea on market value as you get an idea what you will be paying. Me and my 2 friends certainly will charge 100s of dollars less. but it'll be expensive either way since its 1000 just to get in the door for obstructed seats.

Check out their prices on SH, it's not as cheap as you think in those cities. Chicago is comparable. LA slightly less but nit much. I actually bought a pair of Premier level seats for game 7 at the staple center a couple of weeks ago for $1k each and they are now $2k in the same section. (Then I found out that my daughter's 5th grade graduation is on the 18th..WT#..)

Yeah there's going to be basically nothing out there. There will also be a ton more media. In past SCF's, they've used part of or an entire section in the crowd for them where they set up temporary tables and such. I gotta imagine they'll just use the other bridge for the excess media + the media section they have in the 200's.

I am sure a portion of whatever allotment is made available to the general public will be reserved for window sales. That being said, I doubt these people stay outside until Monday. I also doubt that they will be allowed to. I would imagine it is less than 800 tickets, per game, that are available to the general public.

In past years when I camped out for tickets at MSG we got wristbands the night before and had to come back in the morning. Back then it was in order but I recall recent sales being lotteries, or at least that's what I was told.

I agree with everything you said.

I might completely be off base but I estimate that maybe 1/2 to 2/3 of the tix will not be resold so.... if I am close then 18,000 - 27000 tix will be available in total for the 3 games (including house tix which will never hit the marketplace). I further believe that the majority of tix sold will be purchased by people who haven't attended a hockey game in years.

As a fan living in LA (and praying that the Kings make the finals), I'm seeing Staples Center tickets already listed on stubhub for games 5 and 7. Are those legit (I mean, they must be because it's stubhub...but I didn't think that tickets would be listed before the Kings won the series?)

Also, any other fans in So Cal who have advice about getting tickets/places to watch the games?

You can put them on stubhub if they're your season seats before you officially have them. You know you'll get them if the Kings make it. Many Ranger fans did that with SCF, which were only made available today to STH.

Gotcha. Would you guys recommend me paying for the tickets now (i.e. will the tickets skyrocket in price if the Kings win tonight and they're 100% in the finals?), or does it not matter?

Definitely looking for 2 or 3 tickets to Game 3 or 4. Anyone selling at less than a grand? Probably can max at around 800/850 a ticket.

I'll be selling 1 seat for Game 3 (Home Game 1). Section 208 Row 15

Please PM for details. I am selling for fair market value (minus stubhub fees), so please do not message asking for special deals. I'll get back to you within 24 hours.

Lets go RANGERS!!

Still available unless otherwise noted

I did the math on two tickets to Game 5 in LA with airfare from Hartford and a hotel within a mile of the Staples Center that rated a 3.7/5 or something close to that. It would have run me $2100. I'd be lucky to find two seats in MSG for that price. This is absurd.

I came to the same conclusion...still a pretty good chance I find my way into MSG though.

I just took a look on Stubhub to see what seats in my section (upper 225) have been going for. Somebody in my row, back in April, sold a pair to Game 3 for $450/each. Very very lucky buyer (and unlucky seller.)

So tickets already went on sale on ticketmaster and they didn't bother telling anyone?

Well F U too, but LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't go on sale yet.

#NHL #NYR #NYRangers #Rangers announced #StanleyCupFinal tickets go on sale at noon, Monday. Limit of two per game, per customer.

Says it on the Rangers site as well. Can't hurt to keep checking though if you could still search.

EDIT - See the maps are up. Even better.

Going to Pinehurst June 10-14. Rangers games were not in the equation when I planned that trip.

Obviously selling game 4...Just looked at stubhub in my section -> selling for $1,300. Is this real?

Edit - just looked at sold tix in SH - some poor ******* sold a pair for $626 (212 row 5) each on May 1. Some other not poor anymore ******* sold a pair for $1544 each (row 12).

Could that just be on ticket master so they could open up the resale market? Everything else says Monday.
