Whadyallthink?
Is 5'6, but at least he has character -Desharnais
can't stop deflection shots, but at least he has character -Price
Perimeter player, but at least he has character -Pacioretty
Diver and cheapshot artist, but at least he has character -Subban
Has no Vision, but at least he has character - Eller
Like he's skating in sand, but at least he has character -Murray
useless grinder, but at least he has character - Moen
plays like a little girl, but at least he has character -Plekanec
Character is a great idea but the self-loathing, self-mocking like above is lame as hell.
Why not go with having some pride in this team...........
I notice that 2013-2014 is the 100th anniversary of the first appearance of the Hab's iconic sweater and logo, albeit with an "A" inside the "C."

Before this we had the barber pole and several other very different designs. So perhaps the avatars could give a nod to the "CA" logo?

Interesting Habs' sweaters history webpage
Just throwing this into the mix...
I had an idea while reading so much **** again against the Habs by other fanbases as they seem to use the word "typical" quite often. The diving ("typical") - Subban not mamning up ("typical") - the crowd booing ("typical") - the refs calling a penalty against the other team ("typical"), etc.
So since we overused (IMHO) some negativity in the past for our avatars, why not play it in a more positive tone: "Subban wins Norris: typical" - "Pacioretty scores 35: typical" - "Prust will fight anybody: typical" - "Tinordi will be a star: typical"... you get the idea.
