Will see how playoffs go but even this season he hasnt seperated himself from PLD, Strome, Carlson, Thompson (before his fall off the last 6/7 games or so), Chychrun.He's the Caps' third best player this year, so let's check in on the standings and see where that gets them...

Vasilevsky
Slavin
Helleybuck
Are amongst the best players in the league in their best seasons and are routinely top 2 players for their teams for majority of their NHL careers.
Those 4 are just a different class of player that Wilson can't be compared to
I can't see any case for him better than 5th OA in a 2012 redrafr if we are generous and ignore his unproductive early seasons or injury filled seasons and take him over guys like Lindholm, Rielly, Trouba, Parayajo, Hertl etc just based on his peak/prime play.
