For your deep amusement. I have been on this site since September 6th 1997. I stumbled across the site after a suggestion from someone on the old world crossing site. My problem is I can not remember my original name.--I thought it was either crazycanuck or junkyarddog--I was drunk and I changed my name and the email I used to create it.

IF you google September 6th 1997 you will know why I remember that date so well. I was in Liverpool at the time

Congrats. The lockout made me sign up here too. However I really miss some of the posters who were on here back then. I also miss fanhome.

The one thing I miss about the Lounge is that not every post was a joke a joke and posters were not running up their count. We used have a great travel discussion around this joint

I've been on the site long too. I dont think the forums started in 2002? Any idea who's the "oldest" member on the site?

I remember that thread too. IIRC we had a pilot on this board and his least favorite airport was LaGuardia.

I'm curious about why LaGuardia. I would have guessed JFK or Newark would have been worse. Perhaps he simply hadn't flown into them.

Been here since about 2005 and it use to thrive. The spam ads are killing it, along with biased one-sided moderateration. I feel like the loss of Fugu pretty much sealed HFboards fate.
