First period play, wouldn't be surprised if Detroit did that because they couldn't resuscitate him with paddles! We chased their goalie!

We had something like 70% of the scoring chance 5v5 that periodThank god. Great PPs saving our ass.
100%.Needs to be a statement game from him and so far he is carrying his weight.
Very good period.
I would rather see Reinhardt in the lineup than Jenik. The way he’s playing tonight he won’t get a chance to play in the league again.
Yes indeed!Cousins has really stepped up his game lately. Coming as advertised
I was hoping to see more of the pest we saw in preseason, I don't think either guy has been great, we need Amadio and Perron back tbh.Very good period.

Amadio and Perron should be better but neither has been "great" either.I was hoping to see more of the pest we saw in preseason, I don't think either guy has been great, we need Amadio and Perron back tbh.
The dude has probably been fine tonight, he wasn't their issue earlier this game... I was just overly bitchy watching that one shift where he appeared to be allergic to his stick! lolSo did Ostapchuk have one of his arms removed... Just wondering because he seemed to play an entire shift one-handed! You wonder why the Sens lose so many puck battles. Way too much reaching in one-handed, or worse, battling for a pucks on the boards with your stick in the air like a GD flag-pole. Ok, I acknowledge I am overly crusty tonight, but this play so frustrating, self-fulling prophecy when you do shit like this constantly! Grrrr!
Noticeably coasted, bailed on the puck. Least you can do as a call-up is work as hard as the guy next to you.Very good period.

Of course it is the skill they have. Neither has the "speed" we need. We have a need for speed: high end speed.See, it's the skill and speed we need, not how much cheeze they have

You must be binge watching "repeats". Like CBC on the weekends.Lindsay Hamilton has to have mentioned Brady calling our effort embarrassing during the Dallas game at least 75x since.
I'll add to your statement, "when he’s on the ice, while he won’t create much, he’ll prevent bad things from happening..."... and he knows where to be in the offensive zone, not as a true finisher or playmaker but as someone who can keep the play moving in the right direction.Amadio had a slower start but after the first 10 games or so I think he’s been exactly as advertised.
He’s what Methot would call the forward version of a “cooler”. When he’s on the ice, while he won’t create much, he’ll prevent bad things from happening.
He’s a big part of our 3rd line and we really miss him, IMO.
Perron I have no idea what he is since he hasn’t played.

Both Amadio and Perron are just smart players that know how to extend the play by being the right place at the right time.I'll add to your statement, "when he’s on the ice, while he won’t create much, he’ll prevent bad things from happening..."... and he knows where to be in the offensive zone, not as a true finisher or playmaker but as someone who can keep the play moving in the right direction.

First few games the whole line was snake bit dispite very good underlying metricsAmadio had a slower start but after the first 10 games or so I think he’s been exactly as advertised.

Amadio also paced at over 18 goals per 82 the last 3 years, so I think he has a few more goals in him. Snake bitten this year.
