if they put him with more skilled linemates he should hit 60
He’s played with TK and Frost a lot. My gripe is more with people thinking players should bury every shot that Michkov sets up. Goalies are good and will often stop even dangerous opportunities. McDavid and Kucherov set up a ton of opportunities that aren’t put in the net and they had historic seasons

Lol, how could you save any of 4th and 5th goals? You should blame defense on them not goalie. Fedotov made some nice saves in the 3rd, it's just the team didn't support him neither offensively nor defensively.
He gave up a softy as the 2nd, made some good saves, but at times looks slow, has poor angles and questions about his tracking. Time will tell, but there are some red flags

On the Flames fourth goal, Backlund could have double clutched three times, and still scored. Fedotov barely moved on the pass across. It’s actually quite funny watching his mechanics.

You know how people describe some goalies style as lazy? No one uses that for Fedotov.

Flyer top 9 forwards have looked really strong...... Drysdale has been ok was hoping for more tbh....York really messed up that 4th goal ....Michkov skating not the best but he's been great (I was at last night's game and going to oiler game)....Fedotov is a potential problem ... Overall this was a game they likely should've won.... goalies reversed and bounces reversed we win but thats hockey.....

Breakouts were poor this game, worry it'll be like that majority of the season. Tippett playing like he's got the bag already, would rather have Foerster on the left halfwall on the first PP unit, Tippett just fires everything. Lot of troubling signs with some older guys but it's only two games in and as long as Michkov stays with Frost and TK at least the games will be entertaining to go with frustrating.

I thought Fedotov had an average game. First goal was a bit fluky. Second goal you want him to have. Third goal lots of goalies are getting beat. Fourth goal was a 2 Flames on a starfish. He made a lot of good saves for most of the game

Michkov looked great and dangerous. The points will come. He could have had a multi point game but some Flame made a great defensive play by locking up TK’s stick

Frost and Foerster out for an extended period hurt. With Couts regressing, the center position is hurting. Wolf had a strong game so have to tip the hat to him

Second game, a back to back. Meh. We’ll find more about the team as the season wears on. Too early for rash conclusions

Coleman faked a shot on that goal and made a pass instead, Fedotov was on his knees already when the puck came to Backlund, and no chance to stop the shot then.

They battled for a while but Wolf shut the door on them. For a while Fedotov looked pretty good. Late collapse but hey, still 1-1 on the road.

Game was closer than the score. I had more fun than the Phillies NLDS, which is how I will be judging all Flyers puck competitions this season.

You could see the legs were gone in the 3rd period. TK missing that goal, though give the defender some credit for tying him up (yes, size matters around the net, Foerster wouldn't be as easily moved). This was a winnable game, but still struggling to finish. This game also showed why it'll be hard to send Luchanko back, unless he falters, he's a better center at 18 than Poehling, Cates or Laughton.

While it's commendable that Foerster stood up for a teammate, it was a clean hit and the wrong time to do so and it probably was the difference in the game.

Michkov - he's still up and down, have to remember, check note, yeah, he's 19 and a rookie.

Frost - played better this game until he got blown up.

Brink - played better, the pass to Farabee was a beaut.

TK - another PK goal, but as usual he's frustrating, too many "almost" plays

Tippett - for once he passed when he should have shot

Couts - looked better, wonder if he's struggling to adjust to a lesser role, doesn't seem to be a physical issue, but maybe focus, he's used to being "the man."

Poehling - now we know why he's the 4C

Cates - now we know why they moved him to LW

Laughton - 30 is the cutoff for a lot of starters, 32 for top starters, moving to LW should extend his career by a year or two but not working so far

Foerster - too valuable to take yourself off the ice

Farabee - hopefully the goal will help him relax, overall he looks better this season

Hathaway - same as it ever was

York - bad play on the 2 on 1, other solid game playing lots of minutes

Sanheim - seems to be healthy and playing like it

Drysdale - he looks a lot healthier, now you know why they extended Seeler, he needs a reliable partner while he goes through growing pains

Risto - he's actually become the player CF thought he was trading for

Zamula - see little progress, he's 3LHD at best, still gets rag dolled along the boards, and lack of speed shows at time, Andrae will take his job next season

Johnson - 7th D-man playing out of position

Fedotov - was a bit shaky early on, one bad goal, one fluke goal, one tough goal. Kept them in the game most of the 3rd period then everything broke down. I wouldn't make a judgement until he has a half dozen games under his belt, he's working his way back and the NHL >> KHL. He's still better than Peterson/Sandstrom.
