I had a sneaky suspicion that we were in for a night like this. Not that surprised, Detroit was desperate and we didn't match theor Intensity. Not did we play smart.

3 goals off our own guy, 1 turnover breakaway.. Doesn't tell the story... Helle was pretty good really, made several huge saves. The guys upfront besides 29 didn't show up at all. Ok and 17. 29 and 17 were noticeable in a good way

Maybe next time then. Statistically success rate is very near Maurice's career winningness %.

Interesting stats on the radio today.
The guys were talking about how at this point last year our record was almost identical to this year.
Except, last year we had scored 20 more goals and let in 4 less.
Remembering back to then, there were a lot of us saying that our record was flattering us a lot. And sure enough, the losing started.
This team looks different this year though, despite the stats being worse (somehow, I don’t know how that’s possible). The team just has a completely different chemistry this year and they actually look like they’re trying to play a system.
All of this of course was from before tonight’s game though. Let’s hope that’s a once and done situation.

Sometimes, I cannot stand this team. I'm going to go focus on the record, and on the one goal game wins and good stats, but there's a culture of not getting up for games against "lesser" teams, and points are points.
