GDT: 2/22/24 - 7:00PM EDT - Washington vs Tampa Bay

Eyssimont turns there, so he's partially responsible, but not something you want to see again after the Fleury hit
 
This is just sad. Tampa hasn't even been enjoyable to watch lately

Tampa doesn't even respond to the Fleury and Ace hits. 2020 - 2022 Tampa was an actual tough team that would stick up for their guys and goon it up when necessary. Now they just get bullied by everyone

Speaking of Eyssimont too, this is a game where you need him to provide some juice and he's been rather quiet.

When he's a spark plug and as Coop says, drags the guys into the fight, he's a valuable piece of this team. When he's not, he's not anything special.

we really are the Leafs
 
We're the most predictable team in the league by a considerable margin. Normally I'd be demanding the coach's blood but Cooper has always shown a willingness to adapt. I seriously can’t tell if he's lost the team.

Ace goes down so easily. He works hard but he has balance issues under pressure.
 
It seems Cooper's system and the new defensive coach's system is failing. The players aren't responding. If we lose tonight we need a major shake up in the lineup and maybe a coaching change in the future.

Whether he's lost the team or the team is just lost doesn't really matter, he's got to go. This team needs a lot of things they can't afford but the one thing they can do is send a seismic message that will maybe wake this group from their stupor.

This just a cheap imitation now. There is no way JBB should spend any asset on this group.

It seems there is no fire in the belly of this team outside of Kuch and Hagel. We need to compete and play to win instead of standing around waiting for Kuch to carry the team. This is a terrible skid and needs to change asap.
