No Erick, you're right- he's great.
Are you really disappointed with tonight's effort?
It's not Dineen's fault that he has no talent on his roster.

tonights effort has been better than earlier
i think he's slowly getting the locker room back
Is our PP last in the NHL? Feels like it should be.
We're getting there. At the moment we 28th across the board on everything. Is our PP last in the NHL? Feels like it should be.

Fine, he's gained the effort out of two more players tonight.
Still no improvement on gameplay, positioning, chemistry recognition...

Last year was 30th...we getting there

we were #6 last year...
No the effort is ok, again- is a ****ing screen in front too much to ask??
Do the players not deserve the blame for that? It's not Dineen's fault that his best players are undersized and soft.
Here's a thought. It's not the players. It's not the coach. It's both. The difference is we know what both certain players and Dineen are capable of, while others aren't working out.
You can blame Dineen for bad line choices and sitting players or not. But I blame the players themselves when they don't bring effort. A coach shouldn't have to motivate you to try.
Okay, no one is saying this team is filled with all stars. People recognize the lack of talent on the roster, but the fact of the matter is that the coaching can be better and it is a hell of a lot easier to change the coach than it is to switch out half the roster.
Barkov's screen in front in the first period almost turned into a goal..haven't seen it since.
"Bjugstad, Kopecky, Barkov- get yer ***** in front and screen that son of a *****!" -Not Jacques Dinoer.

Martin, DeBoer, Dineen, etc., etc.
The coaches get blamed on here all the time yet they go on to have playoff seasons with other teams.
It's the players.
Everyone but zerog loved Dineen two years ago. If you asked most people on here what type of system Dineen is running, most probably don't even know what it is. The same applies to all coaches for that matter.
Teams with good players win. Teams with bad players don't.
It's not Dineen's fault that he has no top line players on his team. It's not Dineen's fault that his goaltenders can't make a big save. The only difference between this team and the playoff team of two years ago when people loved Dineen was that we used to get big saves. That's pretty much it.
