I said it before and I'll say it again.

Pavelec saved our ass that period with some solid tending.

He kept the game 5-2 and than when it was 5-5, he kept it there.

This bodes well for us going forward that Pavs can be counted on. I felt confident before season about him seeing he was playing behind best backend he ever played behind rather than those sieve like ones he had in front of him in Atlanta and Winnipeg.

As stoked as I am about our offense and our PP, I'm just as stoked about Pavs....this is huge for us.....

Hank should stop being mad on the bench and watch Pavelec actually make saves so he knows what to do next time he sees the crease.

Hank looked bummed out but that is what we should want in our guys. He is a competitor. We want them to care about being benched. Too his credit I saw him congratulating guys after we scored.

Time to face the music Chytil had a great camp, but the plan was probably never to give him a legit shot to stay past 9 games. As soon as the team experiences the slightest bit of adversity AV goes with what he knows and of course right now it's making him look good even though his changes from the first aren't even the difference. Not shocking.

Marc is telling it right about the first period. They weren't trying hard enough. They changed that radically in the second.

We'll keep Chytil through Fast's recovery, at least. This game (5-1 deficit) and last game (everyone on both teams in the penalty box forever) weren't great places to evaluate depth guys

So my read from this is Zucc needs to be away from nash..
Nash should get on a line and the primary shut down line.
Zucc should be scoring.
But also keep KZB together lol
