I'm sure Vegas will get called for interference when they cross check one of our forwards to the ice off the puck in the third period 
They look like they aren't in game shape, which I guess happens when you don't play any games

Our Passive PK of defend the house at all costs is eventually going to drive me crazy as elite passers eventually tear us apart with a ton of space

The second period was close to what I feared the entire 60 minutes would look like, so the fact that the game has only been half bad so far is a win in my books.
I said it earlier in the thread but LaCombe is out with the flu... I would be shocked if there wasn't at least 1-2 guys with it right now.
1-1 going into the third is all I could ask for. I would prefer some first period offense zone time and shots in the 3rd though. Second was stifling, drowning, choking, asphyxiating play from VGK

Boys look tired/may be sick from that illness LaCombe has.
All things considered I am happy wiith how the game has gone.
Ironically I think the all-white helmet would be the most interesting goalie helmet in the league
In other news, the Oilers have been outscored 15-3 through 3 games lol

Tale of two periods. Tied 1-1. First was even. Second we survived and VGK really outplayed us.

Good first period, not as good second period.
That might be down to legs (back to back games after not playing for over a week to start the season is dumb) and Vegas got a couple of PP's that gave them momentum.
That being said, I'd argue we've had the best scoring chances in the 2nd period, just couldn't convert.

Yikes. We weathered the 2nd period, but I dunno how much the team can hold if VGK is camping in our OZone.
