The Maritimes
This team was notable for the number of quality forwards, in particular, that were on the team, as well as the exceptional group who were eligible but playing in the NHL.

Those on the team:
Zigmund Palffy. Age 18
Martin Rucinsky. Age 19
Martin Straka. Age 18
Josef Stumpel. Age 18

Those in NHL:
Robert Reichel. Age 19
Bobby Holik. Age 19
Petr Nedved. Age 19
Jaromir Jagr. Age 18

How many WJC teams have ever had this many quality forwards eligible to compete?

Sweden a year later gets pretty close.
Yeah, they were good.

Forsberg and Naslund weren't named to the 91 team as 17 year olds, as Sweden generally took just 18 and 19 year olds. Nylander and Renberg were both named to the 91 team, but I think Renberg was injured in a pre- tournament game and missed the tournament.

All of them played great in 92.

1991 they could have had Sundin, but arguably the 1992 class was even better with players like Alfredsson and Holmström that didn't make the team.

Soviets back in 80s sure had. Canada with a little exceptions maybe every year.

A group of good players there with Jagr as the clear standout. Bet Canada has had a number of teams with better forward groups though.
