He's a good prospect, he's missed time with injuries but has played well, he certainly has upside, he might have the hardest shot in the AHL, he's not knocking on the door, probably won't this season and has work to do but he's got a bit of swagger to him
I liked him with Ahcan yesterday, moved the puck well.

Big year coming up for the kid. One more year of seasoning in the AHL and he should be ready for a bottom pairing role, if he progresses well. However, looking at the large amount of NHL caliber dmen the Bruins have already signed for next season it may still be two years before we see him in the NHL.

Confident he will make it.

I’m a big fan. Hope he has a good year. We need right handed D.

Also could use some offense back there. Berglund has shown some of that. I don’t think he’ll ever be a savior on the backend but a bottom pairing option with some offense would be a good outcome for him.

Need cost effective players. Maybe Clifton prices out after this contract? Berglund on a cheap contract replaces him and you’re not overpaying for your bottom roster talent.

That’s what makes teams successful.

Really thought he would be in the NHL by now. He was trending so nicely until two years ago. That's why I'm not a paid scout I guess...

Welcome to the Jungle
He was playing well, hit a wall and regressed, then his time was up
Have you followed Cedric Pare at all? Is he an AHL lifer or does he have a path to 4th line minutes? Sounds like he has the size and faceoff ability and last year he put up respectable points in the AHL. I wonder if he has the defensive ability, speed and toughness because I have not heard much about him since the Bruins cut him loose.

Sorry wrong thread. But the 2017 draft that Berglund came from was pretty bad for the Bruins outside of Swayman. I wonder if this draft is considered a success or not. It did also include Vaak an NHL regular and Stud a fringe NHLer.

If I remember correctly, The Pare camp was disappointed that the Bruins only offered a AHL only contract, he either didn't sign it or Boston pulled it, but then there was word he was headed to Providence but that was bum scoop
I think he did an overager year in the Q after ?
Anyways, seemed to have worked out for him
Skating was very poor back in the day, that's what I remember most, that and he's a big dude
