How is saying "he's playing really well" having my foot on the exaggerator?

He’s not playing “really well” tonight. Not bad but not good either. He’s Kunitz tonight “he was there”

Isles are going to get a PP or two after this. They need to score here. Varlamov being a bit tipsy earlier shouldn't take away from how awful the first unit has been tonight.

yeah...didn’t happen ...story of game and Isles will get a late PP and win it on that goal

Jankowski should be waived. Any hungry body from WBS would be a better choice.

L4 has looked better than normal tonight. That’s not saying too much.

Another terrible looking PP...wtf Geno

The Islanders are defending it brilliantly.

First, they're defending the Pens traditional neutral zone passes. Second, they're baiting the entries so they can trap individuals against the wall on entry, knowing they won't have support.

This is just another take on the whole drop pass issue . . .

When a team clearly has adjusted to take certain things away, there's no plan B for Reirden.

So . . . do I blame the players for bad plays or Reirden for putting them in those spots without a Plan B in the first place?

I blame Sully ultimately...

The fact that L4 has a pulse tonight just makes their decision of playing Jankowski every night even more confusing.

Lafferty isn't great, but he can play center at the NHL level. So why insist on Jankowski staying in the lineup?

That PP was why we shouldn't do an about-face on our Malkin takes just cause he converted a 2-on-1.

Sheesh.

Idk I feel like the fact that this team keeps having shitty powerplay units regardless of who the coach is suggests the problem is the players, not the coaches.
