They have Jonathan Drouin on the top line? What happened to that team? Doesn't look impressive at all anymore when you take out MacKinnon and Makar.

Are they the new Oilers? Carried by two players?

Looks like they're waiting for TORTS to come down the mountain with the Ten Intangibles.

And Tortorella came down from the Mount, where the foundational Titans watch over all of creation from high above. Having spoken with the Titans and hearing their decree, the God Emperor himself cried out first and foremost, "You shall have no other gods before me!"

So it is written.

He is after all the best coach in the NHL and there is never any reason to ever be critical about his actions or words.

Alright - so in theory, I like this callup! 22 year old right handed shot D man, higher-ish draft pick....but Grans just never has impressed me.

I don't know. I feel like a hypocrite, but I'd rather have taken Samson, Belpedio (no upside I know), or McDonald before Grans.

Grange stinks but he's what, the 9th defenseman? They're all going to be at various levels of bad.

Samson has been on the 3rd pair so he's years away if ever. But only 21.
Grans is a look-see for a game or two before the wounded warriors return.

McDonald will probably get a shot later in the season if he plays well.
14g 0-6 (ES) +9 (Belpedio, his partner +4, the other D-men are minus)
McDonald didn't stand out to me for good or bad last game I saw, which is probably good for a defense first D-man.

Think they want to see Andrae and Zamula for a stretch before they bring up McDonald.
Probably see him as the eventual replacement for Seeler in a couple years if he works out.

Good. They should shut Frost down for a couple weeks and fix what's wrong with him.
When his top speed is below league average, he's not close to 100%.

You're not getting through a NHL season without at least 14 forwards and 8 D-men.
You want good depth b/c you don't want your better players playing through injuries in the regular season (POs are different, resting a guy so he can play in the round you don't reach . . .).
