I know, but people said the same thing.

In fact, Robie just said the same thing..

Bottom line is ya gotta win. Eventually it evens out. Good teams win; Bad teams lose.

Couldn't agree more bro... Just trying to find a point of optimism amidst this gloomy outlook we have this year. ^_^

When it rains, it's a blizzard in Buffalo.

Blow it up. It's not coaching. This team blows.

What's worse? The team or the crowd at FNC? Brutally silent all game until we go down by 2 then they start booing? Don't know why the team is expected to pump up the crowd, not vice-versa.
I'm guessing like many that ***** about the crowd, you rarely attend games.

As a STH I spend good money to be entertained by the guys making millions to entertain me. I don't go to act as their cheerleader when they're feeling blue.

Do you honestly think any top team needs the crowd to get them going?

Because this team has done anything for the fans to be "pumped" about? (Well, they're on their way to getting us MacKinnon, but I won't applaud them just yet!) The fans will cheer when there's something on the ice worth cheering for.

Rewarded? I'm new so I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic.

The top 5 in this draft looks to be one of the best in along time, should get a very good to franchise player in the top 5. I just dont want the team to go on a run and still miss the playoffs resulting in a lower pick and no playoffs.

What is their to be excited about? I hope the crowd boos more, people are paying big $ for this

I'm not even just saying right now about the crowd. It's been this way the past year or two, as far as I remember. Watching any other game on tv, the crowds just look so much more lively all game and all season. I'm sick of silent arenas all the time unless we score, or get scored on. The players have even said it in the past. They feed off the crowd. All players do. That's one of the reasons Montreal is always said to be a tough place to play (no matter how bad their team could be at any given time).

Impressive save either way, miller getting hung out to dry as usual

Nothing but respect to miller for that save. I would be so pissed if I were Miller. He plays great, but the team in front of him can't buy a goal tonight. I wouldn't be suprised if he would asked for a trade.

I don't "rarely attend games". I go to a couple every year usually, but even at this years opener, the crowd was a little underwhelming. I dunno, it just always feels like we have a lame crowd. If you're spending big money and are disappointed about the team, just sell your ticket or don't go. It's probably better than going and booing all game.

No, i got a bad feeling with the new lottery system. This time Buffalo will not put in one of those "Lindy special march for 9th place" and bottom out 3-5th. But end up screwed by the lottery and draft 12th.

When the team is exciting Buffalo has one of the loudest arenas in the league. When they play like **** there's no reason to get loud. It's that simple.

The lottery system this year is not much different than every year.

If you are the 30th place team you will pick 1 or 2

Hah Funny. You should try stand up. Have been playing hockey since I was 3, I know a good PP when I see it. Looks leaps and bounds than when Ruff ran it. However, they are not closing on those opportunities and Nabakov is playing lights out. Again, I am not making excuses for this team as they are just not good.

That's fine. I have watched or listened to every Sabres game for the last 40+ years. This is the least interesting Sabres team to watch in their history. I want this team to win the cup, but they are not winning this year. This team needs more talent and heart.
