Really nice finish in close last night. Had the patience and hockey sense to control the puck and make a nifty little move before sniping it topshelf blocker side. That's the kind of poise you want to see from young players. A lot of players in that position would have just panicked and swiped at the puck.

I was at his first (and so far only) NHL game last year vs the Preds. He clearly skates well enough, but did look kind of small out there.

Unfortunately he also took a penalty in the 3rd and the Preds scored the game winner on the power play.

You could see how dejected he was sitting on the bench. Felt bad for him. Hopefully he gets another shot and that isn't his last memory of playing in the NHL.

Nothing wrong with drafting big guys like Reinhardt in the 6th and 7th, they jump right into the AHL and offer depth and you can see what you have

Outside of Stone, the best 6th round picks the Sens have made since 2001 are overaged forwards who weren't PPG in junior at 19 in McCormick and Reinhardt, they're the only ones who have even done anything at the AHL level for the Sens
